XRAY proudly presents the new ECS drive shaft 50mm, designed with high-level racing in mind. The ECS drive shafts were developed to decrease front wheel vibration when racing with a solid front axle, thus providing a much smoother and quieter ride and increasing steering.
The ECS drive shaft equalizes the speed between the drive shaft and the wheel. With a unique 2-piece joint between the axle and the wheel, the same extreme wheel turning angle is divided into two shallower angles without joint binding. This means that at the same cornering speed, the inner wheel will not bind or vibrate. Drive through the corner is more stable, more precise and easier to drive.
With the new ECS drive shafts, wheel vibrations and noise are decreased to minimum, steering is increased and cornering speed and smoothness increases noticeable.
The ECS drive shaft comes factory pre-assembled for quality checking, but it is not immediately ready to use. Before using follow the instruction manual.
NOTE: To use the ECS drive shafts you need to use the front C-hubs V2 with the larger opening. The C-hubs V2 were included in all T2'008 kits, so owners of the T2, T2'007 and T2R must purchase the C-hubs V2 separately.
Precision-machined, specially-lightened outdrives for use with XRAY T2'008 Multi-Diff™ axle. Will fit only 3.5mm drive shaft replacement plastic caps (#305241). New high-speed ball-bearings manufactured specially for XRAY XB808. Sealed with rubber seal from one side and with steel seal from other side. ID x OD x thickness (mm) = 13x19x4. Set of 2 pieces.
These ball-bearings have more (and larger) balls inside the cage than the regular ball-bearings, making them much more resilient under loads. The side covers are easy to remove for quick and comfortable servicing.
These ultra-high precision ball bearings are designed to withstand all extremes at the track under racing conditions or even just fun racing. A "must have" item!
